Boudoir In The Pearl
About a month before I moved to Portland I visited for a weekend to photograph a boudoir session in the Pearl District.
We held the shoot in a townhouse apartment with industrial flair, hardwood floors, and a large bank of windows on the far wall. Since I usually gravitate towards old architecture, this was a fun departure from my usual style…
“A” was really interested in more traditional posing which I incorporated in order to create a modern twist on classic boudoir.
We used the hardwood floors, cement pillars, large windows, and a giant canvas cityscape of New York as backdrops in order to set the scene. Though I’m unable to share all of the images from “A”s session, she was kind enough to allow me to share this small sampling from her session.
As always, this session was loads of fun and I hope I have the chance to photograph another industrial, modern boudoir session soon!
