I document full wedding days and full wedding weekends for couples who want a record of their complete story. The getting ready, the ceremony, the reception, the welcome dinner the night before and the hike through the forest the morning after. Whether you're getting married in the Columbia River Gorge, along the Oregon coast, in the heart of the Willamette Valley, or right here in Portland — I know these places well and I love them deeply.

My approach is documentary at its core, loose and editorial when it comes to portraits, and always true to life color. Film alongside digital at every wedding. The result is a gallery that feels like your day actually looked.

The Experience

The Beginning

Once you inquire, we'll start with a real conversation about your day — how you want it to feel, what matters most, and what you want to remember. From there, your date is reserved and we get to work. I'll design a photography timeline that fits the natural rhythm of your celebration, and collaborate closely with your planner to make sure the day flows the way you envisioned it. By the time your wedding arrives, everything is already figured out. You won't have to think about me once. You just get to be there.

The wedding day

Today is your celebration. You remain fully immersed while we move through the day with intention and a steady artistic instinct. When gentle direction is needed, it is offered with ease — otherwise, we allow the moments to unfold naturally, preserving the atmosphere, movement, and emotion as they truly are.

Within the first week you'll receive a curated sneak peek of your celebration. Your full gallery arrives within six to eight weeks, thoughtfully edited and delivered in a beautiful online gallery. Each wedding is approached with legacy in mind, resulting in heirloom albums crafted to preserve your story beyond the screen. A full print catalog is available for fine art prints and custom pieces, so your photographs can live beautifully within your home.

I photographed my first wedding in 2008 and have been based in Oregon since 2013. With 18 years of wedding photography experience, I bring a depth of perspective to every celebration that only comes from doing this work for a long time.

Every wedding day carries its own energy and I want to be a grounding force within it. People feed off the people around them, and on a day when emotions run high, calm matters. I come prepared for every possible outcome, so no matter how the day unfolds, nothing gets missed and nothing feels rushed.

With more than 25 years of film photography experience, I am able to document your wedding day through both film and digital photography. Your photographs will tell a story that is nostalgic, true, and full of joy.

I find inspiration in community and the connections people build with each other. I focus on honest emotion and those in-between moments that might otherwise go unnoticed. Next to community, I find creative inspiration in architecture, Mother Earth, slow fashion, and old treasures.
