Romantic Mt Hood Organic Farms Wedding

Mt Hood Organic Farms (a Hood River Wedding Venue) is one of the most gorgeous wedding venues in the Pacific Northwest. This wedding is a great example of why people choose to get married here; beautiful views, a lush garden, and interesting architecture come together to create the perfect atmosphere.

April & Ivan’s Ceremony

April and Ivan’s ceremony took place outside in between rain storms. Mt. Hood hid herself behind storm clouds for the duration of the vows making for a soft and beautiful backdrop. April & Ivan stood under an antique metal arch covered in flowers while their guests enjoyed cosy seating on the lawn. Laughter and tears were abundant throughout the ceremony and their guests were showed the newlyweds with hugs during their exit.

A Joy Filled Reception with Live Music

While April stole away for a wardrobe change, their guests gathered in the glass barn. The cocktail hour featured a live string band, lawn games, specialty cocktails, fresh local apple juice, and a Polaroid guest book.

At the end of cocktail hour April, Ivan, and all their guests gathered on the lawn for a large group photo. Afterwards, they made their way inside for a delicious farm to table meal crafted by Cultivate Catering.

After dinner the usual festivities ensued: Romantic sunset portraits, heart warming toasts, cake cutting (and smashing), killer dance moves, and of course, an after party at Whiskey Tango in Hood River.
