Chic Wedding at The Metropolist in Seattle
Ginah & Joe got married in the hip industrial area of Seattle, Washington called SoDo. You’ll find this area in the south west corner of the city. SoDo is full of giant warehouses, railroad tracks, and views of low flying planes making their way to the Seattle airport. It’s a vibe.
About The Metropolist
The Metropolist is a modern warehouse space, originally built in 1919. It has a full wall of windows, 25 foot ceilings, and beautiful hardwood floors. If you envision an open floor plan event or multidimensional space, you can style The Metropolist to suit your dream wedding. Ginah and Joe even had a VW van photo-booth drive in for the reception!
The Ceremony & Reception
The ceremony took place in front of gorgeously lit large windows towards the back of the space. The backdrop draped with gauzy white fabric and decorated with greenery for a whimsical feel. For the reception they chose to have a sweetheart table facing an array of long dining tables for their guests. Even though it was important for them to talk with and spend time with all their guests; it was equally important for them to sit and eat some delicious food. For that reason they made the choice to stay seated during dinner. Smart choice!
A Dance Party & Photo Booth Bus
As the party progressed and the drinks got flowing, the dance floor vibes went from calm to silly. The photo booth bus was a huge success with guests of all ages. At the end of the night, Ginah & Joe splayed out on the couches in the getting ready space upstairs.
