I’ve been putting a lot of thought into how I want to approach COVID and your wedding and I’ve landed on creating this FAQ for both my current and potential clients.
I want you all to know that my heart goes out to each and every one of you. Planning a wedding is stressful enough without having to deal with a health pandemic on top of it. Please know that I am here as a resource and will support you in any way that I can. We are all in this together… The whole world is in this together, and together we will get through it.
Below you will find facts regarding my wedding and engagement photography services and how they may be effected by the COVID-19 virus.

This is a living document. Please check in regularly if you are thinking about making any changes to your contracted wedding date. My policies are updating as information changes and we continue to adjust to a new way of life during these times.
Postponing Your Wedding Due to COVID-19
COVID-19 Rescheduling Policy: If your original contracted wedding date needs to be postponed due to state and local stay at home mandates regarding the COVID-19 virus (limiting gatherings to fewer than 25 people) please reach out right away to reschedule your event. You may reschedule your event (1) one time without incurring any rescheduling fees. If you reschedule 2 or more times, you will incur a $500 rescheduling fee for each date change after the first. Your total retainer will be applied to your new wedding date providing Briana Morrison Photography LLC is available for your new date. All efforts must be made to choose a new date in which Briana Morrison Photography LLC is available.
If you would like to reschedule your wedding for any other COVID related reason a $500 non-refundable rescheduling fee will apply and your full retainer will be transferred to your new date.
Canceling Your Wedding Due to COVID-19
I am no longer accepting cancellations for weddings booked after June 2020.
What Happens If I Get Sick or Am Quarantined
In the case that I get sick and am unable to photograph your wedding I will reach out to my community of wedding photographers to find someone with a comparable skill and style to my own. They will photograph your wedding and I will do the rest! Your full wedding gallery will be sorted, edited, and delivered by Briana Morrison Photography.
In the case that I am quarantined and am unable to photograph your wedding I will take the same steps listed above. Your health and the health of your family is incredibly important to me and I don’t want to put anyone in danger.

Engagement sessions can be scheduled normally at this time.
What Happens If You Get Sick or Are Quarantined
Please let me know as soon as possible and we will reschedule your session.
Steps We Can Take to Protect Each Other
As long as COVID-19 is a relevant concern there are ways we can alter our interactions to help protect each other. Here are a few ways to make sure everyone stays safe:
- Stay up to date on Coronavirus News via The Oregonian
- Wash your hands before our session & I will do the same
- Bring hand sanitizer to use in case we touch objects other than ourselves
- We will travel in our own separate vehicles between locations
- Keep a 6 foot distance from anyone living outside of your household. This means I won’t be touching you, hugging you, shaking your hand, giving out high fives, etc. but it doesn’t mean we can’t get silly together
- I will wear a mask any time we are indoors together or I need to come within 6 feet of you
- I will never ask you to touch my gear
- I will never require you to do anything that makes you feel even the slightest bit uncomfortable / unsafe
- All reveal sessions will be held virtually and where we can snack and cry and laugh from the safety of our own sofas
This uncharted territory for all of us and it is understandable that we are all feeling a bit more anxiety or stress than usual. If there is any way that I can assist you with your wedding, engagement, or elopement, please reach out and I will happily help in any way that I can.
